Anu K. Dürr (Managing Director)

Mrs. Anu Dürr has been an active participant in the establishment of NISC Offices worldwide and the formation of NES in India. She has been the Managing Director of NES since 1998 and has exhibited exemplary leadership and played a pivotal role in the administrative, operative and functional areas of NES to ensure stability regardless of the market fluctuations. Prior to NES, she worked for 8 years at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at The Johns Hopkins University.

Under her stewardship NES has grown into a successful company of integrity, built on trust and professional commitment. Proactively identifying, isolating and solving problems, Anu Dürr has successfully grown NES into a top provider of Publishing services for world-class Publishers and Institutes of Higher Education. She continues to strive to make NES a dream work place for its employees. As an experienced entrepreneur, she brings in a wealth of empiricism into the management of NES.

Anu K. Durr is a Director of the Dharmavana Nature Ark (DNA) founded in 2004 as a non-profit initiative committed to Biodiversity Conservation & Climate Resilience.  NES has been a proud patron of the DNA since its beginning.  Mr. Dürr (2004) and Shri. Harish CP Yarlagadda (2022) are the DNA co-founders who firmly believe in safeguarding and conserving nature for its intrinsic value. The Dharmavana Nature Ark is dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity within a specific biome as an ecosystem, focused on the flora and fauna of dry deciduous forests.  Strategically located in the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District of Telangana, India, the DNA organization has been actively managing and preserving over 400 acres of semi-arid habitat.  This landscape will remain in the natural domain forevermore.

In addition to her work in conservation, Anu K. Durr, together with Ms. Nisha Edith Durr, are Partners at Edith’s Baking LLP, an independent bakery devoted to creating wholesome, preservative-free baked goods. The bakery emphasizes high-quality ingredients, including whole grain flours, gluten-free alternatives, and natural sugars, to deliver both taste and health through artisanal yet innovative baked goods.
